Teracopy, a transfer speed boost Windows needed…

For those of you using any version of windows before windows 8, you probably know that coping data from one location to another on windows can be a chore, especially with the snail’s pace speed that native windows handles it at. With no hope of resume or pause one can only imagine how tedious it gets, so bad that this feature was natively incorporated into windows 8/8.1, thank you Microsoft for paying attention to your clients. But for those that havent yet upgraded due to various reasons, here is a free way(if you love the software support the developers with a donation or buying the commercial version).
Teracopy (free for individual personal use)

Here is the feature list from the free version that makes it a steal and must have for all windows users not on the Win8/8.1 wagon:

Copy files faster
TeraCopy uses dynamically adjusted buffers to reduce the seek times. Asynchronous copying speeds up the file transfer between two physical hard drives.
Pause and resume file transfer activities
Pause the copy process at any time in order to free up system resources and continue with a single click.

Error recovery
In case of a copy error, TeraCopy will try several times to recover and, in the worse case scenario, will simply skip the file, not terminating the entire transfer.
Interactive file list
TeraCopy shows the failed file transfers and lets you fix the problem and recopy only the problem files.

Shell integration
TeraCopy can completely replace the Explorer copy and move functions, in turn enabling you to work with files as usual.(Though i advise you not totally disable explorer functionality, for some reason, some areas that give a password dialog will not allow teracopy to write files even when its run on admin mode)

Full Unicode support.
Windows 8 x64 support.

The pro version which is available for commercial use, has a few extra features and for what this software can do $20 really isnt much.

1. Copy/move to your favorite folders.
2. Save reports as HTML and CSV files.
3. Select files with the same extension/folder.
4. Remove the selected files from the copy queue.
So if you have or havent been sold yet on how useful this utility can be just hit up the download link below and give it a test. There is always uninstalling if you not impressed right? But i assure you that you will love it. Support developers CodeSector by using genuine versions of Teracopy or just plain donating for bug fixes and other niceties.
